A teapot is like a puzzle to me. I enjoy making all of the pieces and putting them together in what I hope is a visually appealing work.
All of my teapots are functional but I consider them to be more decorative.

Traditionally a vase is a vessel in which an object is placed. Although my vases and bottles are functional I consider them to be more decorative in nature. Many times the object that might be found in the vase, jar or bottle can be found on the outside surface. On every vase that I make I add at least one element that makes it distinctly mine.

All of my plates are completely function, however, I consider them,as well as all of my work to be more decorative. I think of my plate surface as a canvas where I can add any decoration especially carved images.
I love making bowls. Even though they are simple forms I try to make them visually pleasing. The bowls that I make are completely functional. Like most of my work I think of them as decorative.
All of my drawings are my own creations. For years now I have been a bit consumed with drawing Celtic Knots. Most of them are not quite traditional.
Until the original sells I will continue to use the design. After the original sells I will then retire that image.
